Welcome! I am an Associate Professor of Economics at Acadia University. My fields of specialization include health and labour economics, with an emphasis on applied econometrics. The objective of my work has been to improve upon the human condition by focusing on economic vulnerability, especially among marginalized communities.

I strive to be an ally. This includes seeking the opinions of others about their lived experiences, continuing to understand different perspectives, being committed to improving the well-being of others, and speaking up as an advocate against social exclusion. Given that much of my work focuses on poverty, economic insecurity, and discrimination, I frequently engage with affected groups, sharing my work with them to ensure that I have not overlooked sensitive issues.
